Schooling & Breaking

Along side our livery business we offer a breaking and schooling service.  We specialise in young and difficult horses.  Whether your looking to send your youngster away for breaking or you wish to bring you and your horse to the yard for some intensive schooling, we will be able to construct a package that suits your needs.  

When breaking young horses we start with the very basics, building up confidence with long reining both in the schools and on the road.  Stable manners are as important as riding manners so we have an all round approach.  When we have finished with your youngster I would expect him to be well mannered, able to ride alone or in company, both in the schools and out on the road. 

We also do fitness work for horses going into training or for competition.

If you would like to improve your riding and or the way your horse is going, packages are available.  Tuition is given in a friendly, positive, constructive way, always working to achieve your goals.  Whether that might be to affiliate or to improve your confidence we  cater for all levels. 

We welcome anyone interested in bringing a horse for schooling or breaking to visit us by appointment to  meet our staff and get a feel for the yard.  A list of our present and past customers can be provided so that you can do your 'homework'.
